Core Job Objective
Focus on UPS supporting battery products, lead the design and value proposition of pre-sales technical solutions for overseas markets, provide in-depth services to UPS OEM customers and Hyperscaler/Colocation clients. Drive customer bid success through professional technical support, and strengthen the company's technical influence and market competitiveness in the UPS supporting battery sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & In-depth Demand Exploration
- Act as the core technical interface to liaison with UPS OEM customers, Hyperscalers, and Colocation clients. Precisely identify explicit and implicit customer requirements for UPS supporting batteries (e.g., performance indicators, reliability, compatibility, cost control) through technical communications and demand interviews.
- Analyze core customer pain points based on application scenarios (e.g., data centers, large computer rooms) and deliver targeted value propositions of battery products in terms of backup time guarantee, safety & stability, and energy efficiency.
- Solution Design & Technical Support
- Lead the end-to-end design of pre-sales solutions for UPS supporting batteries, including battery selection, compatibility verification, BOM (Bill of Materials) compilation, technical parameter matching, and cost estimation. Ensure solutions are highly compatible with UPS systems and meet customized customer needs.
- Provide comprehensive technical support to UPS OEM customers, assisting in the design of integrated solutions (including battery matching) and compilation of technical documents (e.g., product manuals, compatibility reports) to support customer bidding and win contracts.
- Develop customized technical presentation plans for Hyperscaler and Colocation clients. Deliver product value propositions through technical seminars and on-site demonstrations to drive customer recognition and cooperation intentions.
- Technical Collaboration & Risk Control
- Collaborate closely with sales teams in overseas customer visits and technical exchanges, providing professional technical support and assisting in defining technical clauses in commercial negotiations.
- Liaise with R&D and production teams to feedback customer needs and market technical trends, promoting product compatibility optimization and technical upgrades. Organize internal technical reviews to mitigate solution-related technical and cost risks.
- Technical Accumulation & Market Empowerment
- Track industry technical trends, competitor information, and relevant overseas market standards for UPS supporting batteries. Build a knowledge base, solution templates, and successful case studies.
- Provide product technical training to sales teams and overseas partners to enhance their capability in value communication and customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Power Electronics, Electrochemistry, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of pre-sales solution experience in UPS supporting batteries or energy storage batteries. Familiarity with UPS-battery compatibility principles is preferred.
- Experience in pre-sales services for overseas markets. Prior experience serving UPS OEM customers or engaging with Hyperscaler/Colocation clients is highly desirable.
- Track record of leading pre-sales solution design for 3+ large-scale UPS supporting battery projects. Familiarity with key industry application scenarios (e.g., data centers, finance) is preferred.
Professional Skills
- Proficient in battery (lead-acid/lithium-ion) working principles, performance parameters, selection criteria, and reliability design. Strong understanding of UPS system fundamentals and matching requirements.
- Solid electrical engineering foundation and knowledge of industry standards. Familiar with data center power distribution architecture. Proficient in using AutoCAD and Office tools for solution design and technical document compilation.
- Excellent technical presentation and solution demonstration skills, capable of delivering precise product value propositions to diverse customer types.
- Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing) as a working language to meet overseas communication needs.
- Preference will be given to candidates proficient in minor languages such as Spanish, Dutch, and Italian, etc.
